Next Intent wins Supplier Trust and Recognition Award

Next Intent has been presented with the Supplier Trust and Recognition Award from NASA / Jet Propulsion Labs (JPL) on August 6th, 2015 at 1:00 pm. Mr. Duy Nguyen from NASA/JPL presented the award at Next Intent in San Luis Obispo, CA. Next Intent manufactures close tolerance components and sub-assemblies for many of NASA/JPL missions.

Next Intent has delivered parts to the aerospace, aviation, medical and defense sector since 1996, and has been recognized for their achievements in the past by JPL for their involvement on two successful Mars Rover missions. Next Intent manufactured the wheels and many of the chassis & suspension components for the 2003 Mars Exploration Rover mission (Spirit & Opportunity). They also manufactured many complex components for the 2011 Mars Science Laboratory (Curiosity) including the drill used to bore into martian rock to collect soil and rock samples.

Next Intent has been involved with many other NASA missions including Grail, CloudSat, GLAST, GOES, IRIS, James Webb Space Telescope (JWST), LADEE, NuSTAR and WISE. Rodney & Cayse Babcock, owners of this San Luis Obispo based company, said they are honored to receive this award on behalf of the entire team at Next Intent. “It’s all about teamwork at our company.  We have a talented group of individuals that work well together to achieve great things”, stated Rodney Babcock, President/CEO of Next Intent.
